About the Meetup

17 Years of Language and Laughter

Mark Twain once wrote that there's nothing you can't learn in Berlin — except the German language. We've been proving him wrong every Tuesday for over 17 years. You'll find a welcoming mix of regulars and newcomers at every session.

Language Exchange — and More

We have a separate table for English and German, and add more tables when numbers grow. While language exchange is at the heart of the meetup, it's not the only reason to come. Whatever language you prefer, you're welcome here. Whether you want to practise, socialise, or both — you'll have a great time.

Where and When

Every Tuesday at 7 pm at Travolta Bar, Wiener Straße 14b, Kreuzberg (near Görlitzer Bahnhof and Kottbusser Tor). Look for the Australian/British or German/Berlin flags to find us. Please note: Travolta is a smoking bar — we sit outside in summer, inside when the weather turns.
